Probably the closest I'll ever get to directing a real Star Wars movie. Enjoy!

Quite possibly the best visual effects brickfilm available! This film won the audience choice award for BrickFest 2002 animation competition. Some of the effects in this film are simply mindblowing, at times it actually seems like a trailer for an official StarWars film. For Star Wars fans, we have what is an entirely plausible storyline for Episode III in this trailer. It is hard to do this film justice in a write-up. Now, you are not going to walk away crying and emotionally moved. . . except if you are an animator. If you are an animator, this film will make you do one of two things: 1) Look to it for all future references as to how do do special effects, or 2) Give up animation altogether because you will never be this good. Seriously, folks. Give this man a full length kick ass script and watch him go (just dont' tell his girlfriend). Some highlights I loved included: The use of red light in the saber battles; the look of dusk in the Boba Fett scene; the blue screened Corsucant car traffic in the background of several shots; the clone troopers battle. Ok, I just watched it again while writing this review. My advice: start downloading right now. Every scene, every shot, of this film is a compositing masterpiece. You can see Jay's Photoshop background here, because the layers and layers of moving images, foreground shots, smoke, fire, lights, and lasers will knock you over. Download it already!

This is a truly stunning film for anyone with an interest in animation. Every shot is packed with detail and the animation and effects are flawless.

Also, based on the experience of the last two, there's every chance that this will be better than Lucas's next effort.

I've always wanted to review this film since its release. Another killer flick by Jay Silver this film gives you everything you could ask for. Action, Effects (which are extrememly well done btw), Drama, large sets, city backdrops, camera tracks, etc. This film has it all and is well animated and executed. If you don't like this trailer for w/e reason I suggest you keep it on your computer as a reminder that much can be done with a camera, a computer, and after effects. This is worth your bandwith or going to your friends house who has cable to download. Go download it now!

Delivering film via the internet is still trying to find its place right now, so please be patient when downloading a movie. Also, since many of these films are hosted on free sites (most of us are not paid to do this, after all), sometimes waiting a few minutes and coming back will resolve a downloading error. If you get a persistent error, pop into the Forum and ask away.

Keep in mind that different formats require different movie players and sometimes even encoding formats, called "codecs", to be installed on your system.

We've got a list of common codecs here on the Resources page, and links to where you can download them.
