From an animator's perspective, this film is average, and, has very little going for it. However, from a filmmaker's perspective, "Limbo: Special Edition" is not only very interesting, but at times, it shows off great filmmaking sense from the director.
Much of this film is still pictures, but if you become involved in the main character's situation, it's unlikely you'll notice. The music is well integrated, and well chosen. In the end, "Limbo" is a thought-provoking film I very much enjoyed, but at times it can seem like the director isn't as concerned about the serious subject matter as he could be.
