| | The director describes this film as an epic - surely a warning sign that the movie will not live up to expectations. Well, not so. This film really is an epic. This is a 16 minute adventure that gives a real roller coaster ride of excitement - from high speed chases to nerve jangling tension. Fantastic.
This film was made in the 1980s on a wind up cine camera, which must make it one of the earliest ever brickfilms. There are story elements in here that we have seen used in recent films, bit this must surely be the original. I feel like I've just discovered the Holy Grail of films - the original lost masterpiece.
Clearly, there are some animation blips and one or two continuity errors, but these are instantly forgotten as the fast paced story moves you on to the next amazing scene.
There are few films I would say you must watch, but this has got to be one of them. Yes, another great Australian brickfilmer emerges! More please - and where have you been hiding all these years?
Download notes - I have just downloaded the large version and the picture quality is excellent. As this film is one you will want to keep, go for the large file. I'm not sure why the file is zipped, just right click it to save it and then unzip on completion.
