I am not a person who can appreciate abstract art. It's hard to find anything in it to relate to. The same goes for surreal films, and this one is no exception. The sets are most impressive, the animation is at times quite creative, but the way the story is told - if any - is simply beyond me.
Look at this one for an interesting mixture of drawn animation and stop-motion, and for some fairly good (if repetitive) background music. The picture quality is grainy at times, and when the music is replaced with actual sound effects there seems to be quite some noise present, which does not help in sucking me into this world.
