The very first Lego feature movie ever being released on-line. Based on the Grand Theft Auto games and turned in to a own twist.
The production took over eightteen months and was just finished right before the deathline. Maybe with a little less rush this could be a much better movie.
The original version was released in 2002, but due heavy compression the sounds were messy. There wasn't also much music in the original.
The production on the directors cut started right after the release, but it all went very slow, which I think it was good.
The directors cut has more music and couple new scenes had been filmed for. Also the compression is much better, but the files size is bigger.

GTA DC is better than the original release. It features much better audio as noted and interesting approach to some of the scenes with CGI mixed with Lego and non-Lego construction. Be warned there is STRONG language in the film as well as many still shots and live action shots. If you liked the original this is worth the viewing. You will also have to dig through the web site some to find the movie.
