I'm not really sure what to think about this film. When I watch it, part of me thinks it resembles a typical newcomer's efforts, primarily because of the lack of set and a few jarring camera moves. I must admit that the animation is quite good and the music at the end is a good choice. However, there's really no point to the film, especially since the end resolves nothing, so I can't say that you should download this. But if you want, go right ahead.
Well, call me stupid, but it took me two viewings and a read of the Post and Review thread before I properly realised what was going on in this film. That may be down to the low resolution at times and a particularly far off establishing shot of the legs,in which I twice missed them. That may also have been because I was looking for the 'N' mod element.
I would say this is an interesting attempt to create a story of a minifig in the 'real' world and an impressive job of animating without studs has been achieved. I didn't spot any blue tack or tape anywhere. However, other technical elements of the production spoiled my enjoyment. Perhaps a version without such aggressive compression might help.
