OK, hmmm, do I let this film in? Is it up to the standard we desire for the directory? Why am I typing this? I must have let it in or else you would not be reading this.
The Good...
- Good story for a first film.
- Original, with not too many of the usual cliches.
- Nice clear audio
- Good basic sets and some great camera angles
- Perhaps the best 3 frame per second fight scene you will ever see
The Bad...
- Too long
- Not enough animation, by a long way. Static pictures with lots of dialogue is very boring
- A lot of the character voices sounded the same
The Ugly...
- Picture quality - this is truly appalling for a Quickcam 4000. Are you sure you're not using the Lego Studios Cam. Even if you are, you can still get a better picture than this. Try using lighting, read up in the Resources section and the FAQ about getting the most from your set up
- Compression, you should aim for 3Mb per minute of film. I guess you forgot to compress the audio here also.
- Two and a half minutes of end credits!
Recommended only for broadband users with a tolerance for first films, wanting to offer constructive advice to the film makers.
