When you picked up a LEGO brick for the first time, did you look at it as a mere toy, or something much, much more?

If you ever thought what Legomen would do if they lived lives of their own, then look no further! Join Arich, Galeno, and Henry as they fight to put a stop to the Assassination Syndicate, an evil organization that, one way or another, all three were weaved into! But, the hardships they will face make for a much deeper story. What will become of these three tiny Legomen? Enter the darker, grittier side of LEGOs, and find out for yourself!

This movie took a little over a year to make (granted, I took some big breaks in-between production), and it was finished in 2004. Trouble is, I had the worst time trying to get it's massive filesize down to a video file with acceptable quality, which explains its late release. So, a 134 MB Windows Media video file was the best I could do. Oh, and just for a quick note: the four "cast members" that you'll see in the beginning credits are not actual people, they're just fake names that I gave the Legomen. Besides a little supporting help and encouragement, I made this movie completley by myself.

The film itself was based off of a game series I created called "Lego RPG." The first Lego RPG was the only one that was made into a computer game (that I created). In fact, there is a flashback scene in the film that basically covers the first game's story in a nutshell.

While it is not needed to enjoy the film, you can download the game here: http://www.loosecannongaming.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=635

Enjoy the film!

A curious colletion of live action camera movement, low-fps animation, and repeated footage create this hour long Final Fantasy styled brickfilm. The story is somewhat over-dramatic with some silly elements (such as the "carpet sword") but the result is a creative world based on someone's basement. The story is actually well thought out, though it's not much different than a simple role playing game, which is exactly how the director describes it.

The sheer effort it took for one person to make an hour-long film like this is certainly impressive and enough to earn a spot in our directory. If you can appreciate campy, dramatic stuff this film may actually be worth the download for you. I know I'm glad I finished watching it, although honestly there were times when I wasn't sure I'd be able to.

Delivering film via the internet is still trying to find its place right now, so please be patient when downloading a movie. Also, since many of these films are hosted on free sites (most of us are not paid to do this, after all), sometimes waiting a few minutes and coming back will resolve a downloading error. If you get a persistent error, pop into the Forum and ask away.

Keep in mind that different formats require different movie players and sometimes even encoding formats, called "codecs", to be installed on your system.

We've got a list of common codecs here on the Resources page, and links to where you can download them.
