Travis and Cecil learn the difference between Fame and Glory in this action-drama.
Filmed 6/7/06 through 7/17/06 as an entry for the Fame, Infamy and Glory contest, Grace is my second big Brickfilm. It received first place out of 13 films.
It was my most difficult film to animate (thus far), and is one of my first attempts at using dialogue. I experimented further with camera movement, dramatic lighting, music composition, story telling, and title-card placement, so I'm pretty happy.
It was finished in a slightly rushed manner, due to the deadline, but I can't complain, as the deadline is also what motivated me to finish. Such is life.
A big thanks goes to my voice actors—you made this movie come alive.
Enjoy!

This film is part of the Staff's Favorites collection of StevieCollins | | Sporting the most clever fight scenes ive seen to date, Grace is a brickfilm that stands above the rest to be a serious work of art. The story draws you in, keeps your attention. The careful attention to details also set this film apart in its sets and Cinematography. Edge of your seat action, and full of plot twists this film is something you will/should keep on your hard drive. Highly recommended.
Nosniborus strikes brickfilm gold again with Grace. Featuring fantastic voice acting, near-flawless animation and a compelling(but somewhat confusing) story, Grace deserves a place on every brickfilmer's harddrive. Well worth the download, and then some.
Nosniborus is back to show us how many Brickfilming awards he can win within a lifetime.
Certainly it's a pretty film. The sets are lit like christmas trees. It's vibrantly full of color and fun. The animation is scrumptiously satisfying and fluid. It's got bloody action with people being tossed around. It has bad-attitude gangsta-names like Fabron and Travis. It's got laughable one liners of impeccable grammatical etiquette such as "SHOULD I KILL THIS ONE?!"
But I'm afraid the plot is a bit thin. The story lacks substance, characters lack development, and it is rather, well, anticlimatic.
Overall, I'd say this is very aesthetically pleasing. The plot shouldn't detract too much from the viewer's experience. But it's one bloated unhealthy feast that has too much dessert and too little meat.
Grace is a brickfilm like no other, it features a compelling story which will keep the audience captivated till the end, top notch animation which to this very day, still remains one of the best animated films on brickfilms.com and substantial voice acting with it's famous, "CECIL," line, it will never fail to run a shiver down the spine.
This brickfilm is landmark in brickfilming history and possibly changed the way we view brickfilms today. Defiantly worth a watch for a thrilling experience that never fails to impress.
