A dashing young director from the US, Jonathan Markiewitz has created a film that is a visual and audio treat. "Star Trek: Captain's Nightmare" is a short, but exciting little film that is guaranteed to satisfy fans of the genre. There isn't much animation, and what is there isn't terribly fascinating, but the visual effects, sets, and cinematography are a pleasure to see. The audio is a mish-mash of orchestral peices and lines ripped from Star Trek, but it is well executed. Regarding the plot, it really isn't much, but it should be enough to keep you interested long enough.
