In a far, strange future man conquered the universe. He did not find Aliens, because he cannot even think the other one. He did not find new dimensions, because his understanding therefor fails and because he has already trouble with the known ones yet. In order to be honest: He did not find even himself. The true monsters are the same since time immemorial: contingency, destiny and the life in itself. But actually only the lackadaisicals 'Sophisticated Space Workers' recognized that:

In einer fernen, fremden Zukunft hat der Mensch das All erobert. Gefunden hat er keine Aliens, weil er das Andere nicht einmal denken kann. Gefunden hat er auch keine neuen Dimensionen, weil sein Verstand daran scheitert und weil er in den vertrauten schon genug Ärger hat. Um ehrlich zu sein: Er hat nichteinmal sich selbst gefunden. Die Monster, denen er unterwegs begegnet, sind die selben wie immer: Kontingenz, Schicksal und das Leben an sich. Doch das haben eigentlich nur die gelangweilten 'Sophisticated Space Workers' erkannt:

The frame-rate is somewhat low, but the lighting, sets, and cinematography make up for this. The story is a little confusing and I get the feeling that something was lost in translation, (the text-to-speech voices in the English version are a little difficult to understand) but the visuals and sound design make this film worth watching if you're interested in science fiction.
