If I had to describe Abduction in five words, I'd say " Nick Durron in Ninety Seconds." This short and sweet film contains all that is great about Nick's films, and thankfully has characters who actually sound pretty good and normal (compared to, say, The Inventor). As noted, it was made for THAC3, so it's impressive the film contains any special effects at all, and the special effects are quite good. The film is a little too dark in some places for my tastes, and the story is simplistic, but the final ending montage that is perfect in it's creepiness makes up for it. The carefully chosen soundtrack only enhances this enjoyable short even more.
