With Tripod's third film in the Dark Bounty series, the plot begins to form and thicken.
Though the film may act as a bridge of exposition between that which has gone before and that which is to come after, the director keeps things interesting. We are treated with a smorgasbord of emotions from the characters involved including anger, betrayal and desperation. There's even a bit of action on the menu towards the end of the film. Though sparse, it's spontaneous enough to entertain.
All in all, Tripod continues to intrigue with his dark, mysterious and ongoing series.
