Being taken directly from the TV adaptation of Douglas Adams' work, the soundtrack of this film is excellent! Added to this are some impressive special effects and neat sets.
Unfortunately, there are a few flaws that make this film not as good as it could have been. For one, the animation. There's relatively little of it. We see some repeated footage, some framerates that are lower than necessary, and some live-action footage. Also, in some places things were moving that shouldn't, and the (great-looking!) stickers used to decorate the torsos came off towards the end.
If you know the books/radio series/tv series, this is a must-see! If you don't, go buy and read the books and then see this. It's ok to watch it without having any idea of what's in the books, but you may find the end of this film somewhat depressing in that case.
