Paco's 2003 BricksWest Entry is a Lego-ized Sports Show. Combining fast-paced hockey action and slapstick comedy, PWWoS will delight even non sports fans. Featuring the voice talents of Colin Sproat and Spencer Glodek, animation by Brian Gould.

This is the best film yet to come out of the OCAP studios, and it is an original concept for a brickfilm too: a sports commentary show. Great picture quality, nice animation (watch for the studio antics) and really funny! You'll need to watch the film a couple of times and know the brickfilms community quite well to get all of the jokes, but that is half the fun. The ice hockey is great, the ads funny, and the commentators have some priceless comments to make. The only major criticism I have is of the soundtrack, at times the same riff that plays over and over (and that can get frustrating) plays over the top of some dialogue, and funny dialogue at that, one of the strengths of this film. As with the rest of the BricksWest 2003 Comedy Comp entries, this film is a download must.

From the intro on we get the feeling we're watching a true Paco/Ocap film, and we know what to expect. This expectation is, this time, lived up to. Mostly. We have the fights we've learned to love, in OCAP's unique style. We have MONKEYS! And we have a touch of "two-guys-insulting-each-other-and-then-fighting" humour seen more and more lately.

The film is set up like I would imagine a typical sports programme to be set up: I don't watch them normally. I think there was a bit too much repetition: after a while the ice hockey guys scoring were starting to look similar. There isn't enough storyline, really. But the fights made up for that!

Delivering film via the internet is still trying to find its place right now, so please be patient when downloading a movie. Also, since many of these films are hosted on free sites (most of us are not paid to do this, after all), sometimes waiting a few minutes and coming back will resolve a downloading error. If you get a persistent error, pop into the Forum and ask away.

Keep in mind that different formats require different movie players and sometimes even encoding formats, called "codecs", to be installed on your system.

We've got a list of common codecs here on the Resources page, and links to where you can download them.
