Well, I like it.
This film has really earned my respect. It takes a huge effort to put this much work into a film that only a very small number of people will fully enjoy; this type of dedication is Buxton in a nutshell. Note that I said 'fully', for even if you are not familiar with Dr Who there is much to like. Technically it is great. Sets are carefully constructed and display nice depth. Characterisation and conversation occurs out of earshot, the viewer must fill in the gaps.
And if you like Dr Who you're in for a TREAT. No doubt about it, this feels like an ep of Dr Who, and incorporates some wonderful references and jokes.
Highly recommended, just keep in mind that if you don't 'get it' you've probably got a lot of Dr Who to catch up on.
