I'm not terribly keen on adding tests to the directory because they generally don't have a great deal to offer the casual viewer.
I've added this one for two reasons. First, Dave has cunningly managed to keep the file size down to 500KB. Second, he mentions a process for automating the rotoscoping process (at least partially). I'm hoping that he'll expand further on this in a thread on the forums.
Animation-wise, the movement in this test is quite fluid and the lightsabre effect is well done. There is a bit of flicker in the background lighting though.
