Review from the old site:
An indie band gets a music video made for them, free of charge. James has taken a favorite song of his and put it to some hilarious action. We see the timeless story of the asteroid that falls from the sky and the monster that comes out terrorizes a small town. Complete with cheesy horror movie lines and some simple cartoon-like special effects, this is at least as good as the last few videos I've seen on MTV. I mean VH1. I mean MTV2.
My review:
This is one of the older brickfilms. It was made with Lego Studios, but I have a feeling that some effects were already done with the use of Painter 5, Doug's favourite special effects program. The main reason to watch this film, besides a few good laughs from a cheesy science fiction parody, is to see how much Doug has improved through the years.
