When I read the story, I thought it would make a good brickfilm.
...My next film will be better!

The tale of Jonah and the Whale, narrated in the most monotonous voice imaginable. It's read in German, but for the more international public subtitles have been added. They scroll by like a news-ticker, which is not the best readable way, but we'll have to put up with it.

I quite liked the big fish (CGI). It didn't look like a whale, but it did look quite scary! All in all the film is not terribly inspiring. Especially since the story is so well-known, I'd have expected some more creativity in bringing it to screen: it's quite a long time to keep your audience's attention.

Delivering film via the internet is still trying to find its place right now, so please be patient when downloading a movie. Also, since many of these films are hosted on free sites (most of us are not paid to do this, after all), sometimes waiting a few minutes and coming back will resolve a downloading error. If you get a persistent error, pop into the Forum and ask away.

Keep in mind that different formats require different movie players and sometimes even encoding formats, called "codecs", to be installed on your system.

We've got a list of common codecs here on the Resources page, and links to where you can download them.
