Lego Millennium Falcon

One really cool thing about the Lego Millennium Falcon from the Star Wars series of kits is that, once you've got Falcon fever, there are several versions of the starship you can collect. Enough to build your very own starfleet. The filming possibilities become absolutely unlimited. Kind of like deep space.

Starting small and working up to stellar, the mini-version Lego Millennium Falcon is just less than six inches wide and long and barely 2 inches tall. It weighs less than five ounces and can pretty easily fit into the palm of an adult's hand. Think about how nicely a tiny spacecraft like this one, hovering off in the distance, will increase the visual perception of the size of your main set.

Get a larger-scale model Lego Millennium Falcon for close-up shots aboard and surrounding the spacecraft. The next step up gives you five pounds of spacecraft as seen in Episode III. This one measures just over 15 inches wide, almost 23 inches in length, and almost four inches high.

Each and every single one of the 985 pieces to this medium-sized Lego Millennium Falcon is an adventure to assemble. Once complete, you'll have a top and triangular pieces that are removable so you can easily film interior scenes. The starboard hatch is moveable and the ramp pulls out for easy boarding. The escape pod on the port hatch and the moveable gun turret add to the authenticity.

The Episode III Lego Millennium Falcon comes with some key characters - Han Solo (of course!), Princess Leia in Hoth attire, Chewbacca, C-3PO, and a Stormtrooper.

For the ultimate Lego Millennium Falcon experience get the Lego Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon and make point-five past lightspeed in grand style. This collector's dream kit even comes with its very own numbered Certificate of Authenticity sealed into the boxes of the first production run.

The ultimate Lego Millennium Falcon will keep you occupied, with its 5,195 pieces. It's the biggest Lego Star Wars model that's ever been made. When fully assembled, it measures more than 33 inches in length, more than 22 inches wide, and is more than eight inches tall.

What's more, the ultimate Lego Millennium Falcon is built entirely to minifigure scale. And the minifigures that come with this collector's edition kit are everybody's favorite characters - Han Solo and Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The cockpit of this version Lego Millennium Falcon can be opened for easy access to minifigures inside. Landing gear doubles as a base to stand the spacecraft on during filming and storage. The radar dish can be rotated and elevated and the boarding ramp extends for cool boarding shots. Remove the gun turret and station a minifigure there. This kit is so interactive that filming is pure joy and close-up scenes are a real snap.
