Lego SpongeBob
Brickfilm enthusiasts and Lego buffs alike who dream of being swept up and carried away to exotic lands far, far away needn't forget about the endless possibilities of tropical adventure that await inside a Lego SpongeBob Squarepants kit.
Life under the sea is never lonely, especially when your Lego SpongeBob kit comes with his favorite undersea companions. The original kit, Lego SpongeBob Adventures at Bikini Bottom, includes Gary the Snail, SpongeBob's meowing sea cat; his best buddy, Patrick Star, a naively innocent pink starfish; and Squidward Tentacles, of course.
Just as he does on television, Lego SpongeBob lives next door to the bald-headed, clarinet-playing Squidward and it's likely their Lego neighborhood is no more harmonious than their TV neighborhood is. Oh, well.
Whenever Lego SpongeBob gets enough of grouchy old Squidward, he and Patrick can always escape the pleasures of life in a pineapple house on the ocean floor and explore the Seven Seas in Patrick's motor boat. Or enjoy a jellyfish round-up with the jellyfish that come with your Bikini Bottom Lego kit. There's even a Lucite wagon to put the jellyfish in so they're handy whenever SpongeBob and Patrick decide to catapult them into Squidward's Tiki house.
For action-packed filming, Squidward's Tiki house collapses when catapulted jellyfish hit it just right. Lego SpongeBob is big on catapulting. His bed works as a catapult, too.
When your Lego SpongeBob needs a little exercise, have him invite Patrick over to shoot some hoops. A hoop and a couple of basketballs are included in the Bikini Bottom Lego kit.
And when the guys are just hanging out watching the world swim by, your Lego SpongeBob can hang out over at Patrick's rock. Just make sure to stay away from Squidward's Tiki house between the two.
With so much going on in Bikini Bottom, Lego SpongeBob can probably keep the film rolling till the next major tsunami. But, in the meantime, if you are interested in some fresh faces and new scenery, supplement your Lego SpongeBob filming panorama with Mrs. Puff's Boating School, or grab a swim-through burger at the Chum Bucket fast-food restaurant, or hop on board the Bikini Bottom Express.
The only thing that generates more laughs than watching SpongeBob on TV is doing your own filming with the Lego SpongeBob series of kits.
