Tips and tricks for making stop motion animation effects with the Star Wars Lego pieces
Many famous movies have used the stop-motion effect with stunning results. If you are trying to use special effects in your Lego Star Wars collection to make a stop-motion film, you can use many different methods. Of course, the most common method is to take a single picture of each piece as it changes position, and then go back and edit the photos individually. This does work, but it can be rather tedious work. It is critical when doing this that you do not skip a step or the final movie may have some serious glitches or flaws. Also, once you have saved your Star Wars Lego photos, be sure that you do it so that they stay in order or else you may be in danger of getting the entire scene or even the whole film mixed up, or frames will be out of place. Fortunately, there are some new advanced programs that can assist you with making your Lego Star Wars stop-motion film, and adding the much-needed special effects.
The newest software makes adding special effects such as adding a light saber into the picture much easier. You can also make a blurred effect for fight scenes to give an illusion of more action happening in any given scene. If there's a Lego Star Wars piece you don't have, the software may even allow you to add a new character into the film without actually having it in your possession. It might seem a little daunting at first, but this new wave of stop-motion software is fairly user-friendly and makes for an excellent addition to the movie to give it more depth. There are many different great effects that can be added to your Lego Star Wars stop-motion movie to make it look more lifelike and "realistic" as well, so you have a totally original and fun stop-motion film.
