Stop Motion Pro Animation Software v5

Stop Motion Pro (SMP) is a software tool for making stop motion and other animated films. It is a high quality product, used by many serious animators. Stop Motion Pro is a small company who are devoted to improving tools for animation and have been a steadfast supporter of brickfilms.com, having donated prizes for every major contest on the site since 2003 and assistance with promoting the hobby of brickfilms, including outfitting brickfilms.com representatives with software for animation displays at conventions and events. We are pleased to be able to offer SMP to brickfilmers at better-than-usual prices. Sales through this site will benefit brickfilms.com directly.

You can use SMP with a webcam, a DV camera, or a digital still camera, including DSLRs. It's especially useful with Canon Powershot compact cameras, which can be controlled directly by the software and used with a live preview, offering the best combination of animation convenience and image quality. Canon DSLR cameras can also be controlled directly by SMP (SD and HD versions).

SMP has some good features which set it apart from other animation programs. The audio sync tool lets you animate with direct reference to a sound file, which makes animating dialogue or actions to music much easier and more accurate. You can use chroma-keying during the animation phase, which is a bit less troublesome than doing it only with your video editor. Rotoscoping is a tool which permits animating to a series of reference frames (such as a live video), which is powerful tool for producing life-like motion. The frame editor makes removing, rearranging, and duplicating frames a simple matter. There are a number of other great features I'm not even mentioning here.

For further research and to get more information about the differences between the 4 versions, I encourage you to check out the Stop Motion Pro website.

If you purchase a download version, you will receive a serial number by e-mail. Sadly, this is not a process we are able to automate just yet, but I promise to get you the code as soon as I can. In most situations this will be less than 12 hours. The e-mail will also have instructions for downloading and registering your software.

If you purchase a boxed version, a software CD in the mail (shipping is included in the price). Along with your CD case you will receive a set of keypad stickers, which are helpful for using a remote keypad for animating.

Click the price of the version you'd like to purchase to add it to the shopping cart.
