Starwars Legos Video Games: How they Began
Since many of us didn't get our fill of Star Wars in the movie theatres, the video industry has been kind enough to bring us even more opportunities to get down and dirty with the characters and battles that we love the best. Starwars Legos video games are enjoyed by video fiends of all ages, from the Star Wars buffs that can still remember seeing the very first flick on the big screen, to the little tykes who have never seen a single Star Wars episode.
Starwars Legos is available on many different types of gaming systems, and the "E" and "E10" ratings allow the games to be enjoyed by the entire family. The games are easy enough for the youngest gamers in your clan to play alone, or you can play together so that everyone can get a kick out of the characters and the tongue-in-cheek humor that is characteristic of this series.
The first Starwars Lego game came out in 2005, and allows you to battle through the first three Star Wars episodes. You can play all of the major characters in the film, and many of the minor ones as well. Jedi masters can use their force to move various pieces in the game, and produce plenty of studs that allow you to purchase additional characters and powers.
The second game was released in 2006, and brings in the original trilogy with old favorites like Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia. You can find your characters in a variety of their classic garb, especially Princess Leia, who appears in everything from her regal clothing to her slave costume that she wore when she was chained to Jabba the Hutt.
The last Starwars Legos game appeared on the scene in 2007, and is aptly called The Complete Saga because it incorporates all of the episodes into a single game with many special features as well. It even provides a sneak peek at the Indiana Jones series that is due to be released about the same time as the newest movie in this series. These video games are the perfect way to extend your enjoyment of the popular movie series. Enjoy your games and may the force be with you!
